Collection Planning
- Build and maintain the line plan, style master and collection calendar with the Creative Director.
- Track every style from concept through to launch, flagging risks to timeline or cost early.
- Maintain option counts, category balance and price architecture across the range.
- Coordinate design, sampling, production and vendor timelines into one working schedule.
Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Identify and develop vendors for fabrics, trims, embroidery and job work.
- Source materials to the required quality, quantity and delivery window; maintain fabric and trim libraries.
- Negotiate rates and terms, and maintain an approved vendor and rate database.
- Raise purchase orders, track deliveries and follow up relentlessly on pending inputs.
Costing
- Prepare and maintain detailed cost sheets covering fabric, trims, embroidery, job work, wastage and overheads.
- Analyse cost against target margin and propose alternatives without diluting design intent.
- Track consumption norms and reconcile actual versus estimated usage.
- Support final pricing decisions with accurate, current costing data.
Sampling & Approvals
- Coordinate proto, fit, embroidery and sealer samples across vendors and in-house teams.
- Maintain a sample tracker with clear status, dates and pending actions.
- Route samples for approval, record comments and close corrections to schedule.
- Ensure approved samples are correctly documented and handed over to production.
Production & Quality
- Issue production orders and monitor cutting, stitching, embroidery and finishing progress.
- Conduct in-line and final quality follow-ups against approved standards.
- Resolve shortages, rejections and delays with vendors and internal teams.
- Maintain production records, WIP reports and dispatch documentation.
Inventory & Launch Readiness
- Track raw material and finished goods inventory; prevent both shortfall and excess.
- Coordinate packaging, labelling, tagging and barcoding to house standards.
- Prepare product data, imagery inputs and stock readiness for launch.
- Coordinate with sales, retail and e-commerce on allocation and replenishment.
